# AppearanceConfig

> Your brand colors and light or dark mode for the reward sheet and trigger components in a Unity game.

Colors you pass to [`Placement().Appearance()`](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/placement) for the sheet, or to a trigger component's [`TriggerOptions.Appearance`](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/encore-trigger) and `SetAppearance()` for the entry. Every field is optional, and a field you leave null keeps the look's own color.

## Structure

```csharp theme={null}
public sealed class AppearanceConfig
{
    public string AccentColor;          // sheet and trigger components
    public string BackgroundColor;      // sheet and trigger components
    public string TextColor;            // sheet and trigger components
    public string SecondaryTextColor;   // trigger components
    public string TrackColor;           // trigger components
    public string OnAccentColor;        // trigger components
    public ColorScheme? ColorScheme;    // trigger components; null follows the app's setting in the Encore portal
    public string BackgroundEndColor;   // trigger components
}
public enum ColorScheme { System, Light, Dark }
```

Colors are hex strings: `#RGB`, `#RRGGBB`, or `#RRGGBBAA`. The sheet reads `AccentColor`, `BackgroundColor`, and `TextColor`, and applies `TextColor` only together with `BackgroundColor`. A trigger component reads every field; what each one colors on the entry is in [Colors](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/triggers/overview.md#colors).

## Example

```csharp theme={null}
var brand = new AppearanceConfig
{
    AccentColor = "#5671FF",
    BackgroundColor = "#101827",
    TextColor = "#FFFFFF",
    ColorScheme = ColorScheme.Dark,
};
```

## Notes

* Read on Android, iOS, and WebGL builds.
* An appearance on a placement styles that sheet. An appearance on a trigger component styles the entry only, never the sheet it opens.
