# ClaimReminder

> The Unity API for the Claim Reminder trigger component: a banner for an offer the player claimed and hasn't finished, from code or with EncoreClaimReminderView.

The Unity form of the [Claim Reminder](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/triggers/claim-reminder.md) trigger component. The native banner floats above the Unity view at a rect your game sets. It reminds the player of an offer they claimed but haven't finished, and a tap opens the sheet that holds that offer. Its height stays 0 while there is no claim to show.

## Signature

```csharp theme={null}
public sealed class ClaimReminder : EncoreTrigger
{
    public static ClaimReminder Create(string placement, TriggerOptions options = null);
}
```

`ClaimReminder` is an [`EncoreTrigger`](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/encore-trigger) with the trigger ID `claimReminder` built in. Placing it, its height, its live setters, its `Result` event, and `Dispose()` are on [`EncoreTrigger`](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/encore-trigger#members), and every option is on [`TriggerOptions`](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/encore-trigger#signature).

`Create` throws `ArgumentException` for a blank placement.

## Example

```csharp theme={null}
using EncoreKit;
using UnityEngine;
public class HomeScreen : MonoBehaviour
{
    private ClaimReminder _reminder;
    private void Start()
    {
        _reminder = ClaimReminder.Create("home", new TriggerOptions
        {
            Appearance = new AppearanceConfig { AccentColor = "#5671FF" },
        });
        _reminder.HeightChanged += height => LayoutAround(height); // 0 while there is no claim
        _reminder.SetFrame(new Rect(40, Screen.height - 200, Screen.width - 80, 0));
    }
    private void OnDestroy() => _reminder?.Dispose();
    private void LayoutAround(float height) { /* move your own UI */ }
}
```

## EncoreClaimReminderView

A `MonoBehaviour`, under **Add Component → Encore → Claim Reminder**, that keeps the banner over an empty `RectTransform` in your Canvas and follows it every frame as the layout moves or scales. It waits for `Encore.Configure`, then creates the banner in its first `LateUpdate` after that. With `resizeToContent` on, the element has no height while there is no claim.

```csharp theme={null}
public sealed class EncoreClaimReminderView : EncoreTriggerViewBase
{
    public ClaimReminder Reminder { get; }      // null until the banner exists
}
```

Its Inspector fields, `Placement`, and `Result` are those of [`EncoreTriggerView`](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/encore-trigger#encoretriggerview), without `triggerId` and `autoOpenOff`.

## Notes

* What the banner shows, and when it renders nothing, is on [Claim Reminder](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/triggers/claim-reminder.md#what-the-user-sees).
* The rules every trigger component shares, such as drawing order, are in [`EncoreTrigger` notes](https://docs.encorekit.com/publishers/unity/sdk-reference/encore-trigger#notes).
